The time has come once again for Women’s Health Magazine to choose their 125 Best Packaged Foods. If you had to guess what beverages and foods made the list how many do you think you could name? I bet you could guess at least one beverage that deserves that kind of mention…

Sweet Leaf Tea has won the honor of being included in Women’s Health Magazine Best Packaged Foods! We are so thrilled that our All-Natural Lemon & Lime Unsweetened Tea was chosen because it’s not only delicious, but it’s calorie-free, healthy and made with care. It has all the makings of a true winner!

I think the people at Women’s Health Magazine said it best, “Kicking sugar doesn’t mean boring your taste buds to death.” If you haven’t tried this flavor yet, be sure to keep an eye out for it. Most people spot it at natural food stores like Whole Foods, Sprouts, Central Market and the like.

Look us up in this month’s issue of Women’s Health Magazine, or check out their website at: http://www.womenshealthmag.com/nutrition/best-soft-drinks-0

Sweet Leaf Lemon & Lime Unsweet Tea Wins Award!

Hey guys, @SweetleafBarber here, back to share my top picks for ACL this year. But this year, I am not alone. J-Stan and I have known for awhile we both shared a love of spreadsheets, but we didn’t know until this August when we ventured to Chi-town for Lollapalooza that we had the same love for live music. You know when you are planning out your festival schedule with friends and it gets tricky because…you want to see this band and they want to see that band….well not me and J-Stan. We had all the same festival picks and that’s when we knew we would be music fest soul mates forever. So now it’s time to share with you our ACL schedule magic.

Ok, so our top pick this ACL has to go out to our boy, KANYE WEST. After we saw Eminem at Lolla, this became a no-brainer. I think if there is another performer that can bring the same energy Emimen did it would have to be Kanye. @SweetleafJermaine and J-Stan sang every word to every song and I chimed in every chance I could (what, he raps at warp speed). Our hands bounced up and down, heads bobbing to the beat, and we even held lighters in the air when Bruno Mars came on stage. I was on a high the rest of the trip from that show. So you will find us three at the Bud Light stage on Friday night reliving our Lolla glory. Spoiler Alert: What if, just what if, Jay-Z surprised everyone and came out to rap with Kanye under the Austin skyline?!?!

Some other top picks…Foster the People, Young the Giant, Fitz and the Tantrums (we saw them at a Lolla afterparty and they rocked it…super high energy and a stellar cover of Sweet Dreams).

Where do I begin…it’s been a long hot summer, but we survived the heat wave and the deluge of Lollapollaza. It took a minute for me to recognize what that stuff was falling out of the sky.

Now, it’s time once again for ACL and the continued musical education of my children.  This year, boys and girls… the Coolest Mom Ever is going to tell you a story about Lil Stevie and me.

My first memory of hearing Stevie Wonder is the summer of 1976. My parents had this amazing stereo system with these giantic headphones. I sat at the desk singing “Love’s in Need of Love Today” at the top of my lungs  (I know…so not like me) not knowing I had an audience. Apparently, my father had been listening to my rendition of the Stevie song. All the while, smiling as I did my best Diva impression tethered to the stereo. Once I finally realized that my concert had ended and the internal applause quieted down,  my dad told me how great it sounded. I imagine if he had the vocal talent of his daughter…he would have busted out in the chorus of “Isn’t She Lovely”.

ACL is here again!!!!  And I cannot wait to see Ray LaMontange.

While I am a fan of his music, the number one reason I want to see Ray LaMontagne is so that I can stop getting him confused with Tracy Chapman.

As a fan of Fast Car and Give Me One Reason, it has taken me quite a while to realize this dude is, well, a dude.  After swaying barefooted to Jolene in the plush Zilker grass, I am confident I will finally be able to distinguish between these two soul-filled artists.

Other shows I’m psyched to see are The Head and the Heart, Gomez, and Foster the People (they killed it at Lolla)!

Have fun out there and stay hydrated!!! -@sweetleafjacqui
