Music Monday 90′s Style!

So, tomorrow is a BIG day! I get to live out one of my childhood dreams and see New Kids on the Block, also known as NKOTB to us cool kids, live in concert. As a special bonus, Donnie, Danny, Jordan, Jonathon, and Joey will be joined by the lovely and talented Backstreet Boys. (Thank goodness N’sync wasn’t included because I would have hyperventilated.)
In preparation for our girls night out concert trip, I started putting together a little playlist of other songs from bands during that era. I had to start with the first CD that I ever owned. Ace of Base, which quickly led me to Wilson Phillips “Hold On”. And then I also had to include my favorite music video of all time, Paula Abdul’s “Opposites Attract”.
If these two songs don’t make you put a smile on your face, I don’t know what will. Sound off in the comments with any other stellar bands I need to add to my playlist. Stay tuned for my full concert recap and pictures of us in our homemade NKOTB t-shirts (with puff paint of course) next week!
Hangin’ Tough,

Ha! Awesome. I had the biggest freaking crush on Joey. I even got in trouble for calling their hotline number without asking my parents…yeah. Brings back memories for sure!! I seem to remember skating around my garage to the smooth tunes of Mariah Carey during this time period, too. Ohh and don’t forget Boyz II Men!!!
Love your lemonade – blogging about it tonight on my patriotic picnic post! Jennifer
Awesome! Be sure to send us a link to your blog and post it on our facebook page: http://facebook.com/sweetleaftea
