This is just too hard..I mean, scoring SXSW Artist bands from Ozomatli was pretty amazing, as was flying to Mile High Fest and hanging out on the stage during Cypress Hill, and bringing tea to Bassnectar and getting to see their sound check, and PHISH jammin’ their hearts out during ACL….

My wife and I attend ACL every year and hit up your booth for some nicely chilled refreshments! This year, you guys did me a solid when the awesome SLT employees at the booth forked over a Sweet Leaf Tea bandana. Obviously, after they got a look at my fair Irish skin (the sun is not my friend), they realized I was in need of some redneck rescue!

The gang at the booth continued to dampen the rag with ice-cold water every time I went back for a tea. Came in handy after a few hours of heat, especially around the time Broken Bells hit the stage. Thanks Sweet Leaf Tea!

    Country Thunder!

Eric Church – one of the best country artists out there! He knows how to rock and have a good time!

My coolest SWXW memory was from 3 years ago. I was at a show at Stubbs with a lot of different artists performing together in promotion of a documentary that they did the soundtrack for. After the show, we were walking down Red River and I realized that Serj Tanken (Lead singer for System of a Down) was walking next to me. I chatted with him for awhile and he was totally sweet and soft spoken. He even posed for a picture with me before walking into the sxsw crowd on 6th street!

One of my favorite memories from ACL 2010 was when I unveiled on of my favorite tattoos… “the sweetleaf butt tat” to the sweetleaf booth and the crowd went wild! haha! I felt straight celeb status. Sweetleaf has long been my favorite tea on the planet, so it was pretty cool to be appreciated by SLT! I was like “they ARE as cool as their tea is good!” Thanks for the rad memories and countless gallons tea! Ps- my butt thanks you for the inspiration.
