Have you ever wondered into a random grocery or convenient store on vacation looking for a little something-something and low and behold amongst the exotic products of your getaway location you find a tasty reminder of home? And even though it’s fun to try new things, the thought of a sip or bite of something familiar is too tempting to resist? I love it when surprises like that happen. It’s almost an excuse for me to get both—a double treat.

When I got the note below from a fan on vacation, it reminded me of adventures in faraway places and it made me smile. Partly because I was happy to hear Sweet Leaf was found in Hawaii by a Texas fan and secondly because there’s nothing like a good vacation. Thanks Stephanie for picking up Granny in Oahu and for sharing the love!

“They had Sweet Leaf green tea in Hawaii – now I can live here! Mint & honey green tea is my absolute fav. Found it at a great surf shop on the north shore of Oahu in Haleiwa. Made my day!! Thanks for making a great product!! —Stephanie M., Texas City, TX
