Surely, you’ve heard of our Tea Snacky conquest by now. (Twitter: #teasnacky) And if you haven’t, well, you picked the right post to jump in on the bandwagon. Tea snacky is our ode to fine foods that just happen to go deliciously with a chosen flavor of Sweet Leaf Tea. Sometimes, our iced tea just serves as a complimentary beverage to a snack. And, sometimes it’s mixed right on in. In honor of the stomach growl inducing tea snacky ideas we’ve been receiving, we thought it was due time to take this conquest to the next level. Hence, the “Tea-Luck”.
Yep, instead of a pot-luck, the Sweet Leaf Marketing Tea’m decided to gather and host a Tea-Luck where all the food served had to be made with a bottle of Sweet Leaf Tea. Now, some of you might be thinking, what in the world can you make with those delicious sweet teas….and that’s where the fun begins my friends. I have to be honest here, I was a little timid at first. But after a quick Google search, I was amazed at the sheer volume of recipes that can be made with tea. All it takes is a little crafty cooking, a little switcharoo of this or that, and a good understanding of our flavors. And voila! Masterpieces.
Seriously, if you need a tea’m of chefs at your next family gathering or friendsgiving, then you might consider hiring us. Or, you can just follow along here all this week to get each of the recipes from our little Tea-Luck to make the sweetest, most delicious tea-inspired meal you’ve ever had. If you give it a go, be sure to send us a picture to sltfan@sweetleaftea.com and if we post it here on the blog, we’ll send you a few bottles of your chosen flavor. For some odd reason, we get a kick out of tea-themed parties.
