THE ACL LINE-UP IS UP!!!!! OMG I’MA BOUT TO LOSE IT!
Sweet Mother of all that is good and holy, am I excited. < Ecstatic < Overwhelmed with amazing glorious joy from the heavens above. I give you a breakdown of a few bands I’m stoked about.
THE EAGLES!!! — Desperadoes from the Hotel California.
THE STROKES — Early 2000′s sub pop!
Vampire Weekend — They drink Horchata on campus with a guy named Blake with a new face.
Band of Horses — Once owned a ranch with talented horse who learned to play musical instruments.
Local Natives — In their natural habitat where ever they roam.
More to come as the time draws near. Let us know what band you want to see at ACL this year, and if you are convincing enough we might give you a FREE CASE OF TEA!!!! *fireworks* *explosions* *confetti* Comment on this blog for a chance to win. The Winner will be announced in a week! If you haven’t seen it yet…check it out HERE.

I’d love to see The Stokes live! Is this it? Going to listen to them now as a matter of fact! love love love me some mint and honey sweet leaf!

More than the bands – I enjoy the people watching! I love the crowd ACL brings to town. The energy is amazing. Musically – I’m aching for some more Local Natives (loved them at SXSW) and Vampire Weekend. It’s going to be a spectacular and exhausting weekend!
I’d love to see the strokes and vampire weekend…actually i’d like to see anyone perform at ACL since I haven’t gone since…Oh god well the last time I went to ACL was in 2004
and of course I’d love some tea because I’m knocked up and drink it like oxygen
Are you even kidding? Sonic Youth!
After last year’s canceled show, they are one of my most anticipated bands to see this year.
BUT ACL FEST BE WARNED – DON’T EVEN THINK OF SCHEDULING THEM DURING THE BLACK KEYS!!!!
Hands down, it is the Flaming Lips. Any band that can incorporate dancing mascots, confetti cannons, giant laser hands and a human-sized, crowd-surfing hamster ball into their live show is alright in my book.
You’ll need a case of Sweet Leaf afterward just to cool down from dancing like a fool for two hours.
We need you to NOT be out riding fences, Danny…
Gotta agree w/David H., I’ve never seen the Flaming Lips before so I’m excited to see them, as well as The Strokes, PHISH (Haven’t seen them since the 90′s and I LOVE THEM!), LCD Soundsystem and my buddies Ozomatli (they are SOO fun!).
Hands down it’s Robert Randolf and the Family Band. If I could I would bring my father with me too because this is the exact type of thing that we love to do together. I got into Robert Randolf and the Family Band some three of four years ago really heavy at the suggestions of my father when I was going through his music library and it has had a prominent place in my music library since. I hear he has some wicked great concerts.
