Doing our part for Haiti
By Alexandra on Jan 25 Filed In Events, Sweet Consumers 4 Comments
Last Tuesday IAmChange.org, a non-profit organization based in The Woodlands, decided to step up and do something to help our neighbors in Haiti. In just two days they planned two benefit concerts, printed tee shirts and solicited the help of compassionate musicians, venues, partner brands and media. The concerts took place at Taft Street Coffee in Houston and Market Street in The Woodlands and raised more than $13,000 to aid those affected by this disaster.
Sweet Leaf Tea supported IAmChange.org’s efforts by donating tea that was free for attendees willing to give any donation. We passed out over 240 bottles of tea and raised hundreds of dollars. At Sweet Leaf Tea we realize the importance in giving back to our community and are honored to have been part of this event.

Steve and I were thrilled to be part of this event. Some folks donated as much as $20 for a bottle of tea.

That was awesome!!!! Great Job Alex and Steve.
