Everyday IS Like Halloween

Just wanted to give a quick update to how the spooky Halloween celebrations went this weekend.

At work we only had one person beside myself that dressed up. I want to give mad props to Megan Clark for rocking her giant afro at her desk all day long!

I hit three parties on Saturday: the first being the Do512 Halloween at the Graveyard Party, sponsored by Sweet Leaf Tea, Dos Equis, and our friends at Tito’s Vodka. It was a heck of a good time! Here’s hoping that we can upload some pix soon! There were some unbelievable costumes at this party and I wish there had been more room in my vintage purse for a camera as well as my iPhone, as it was too dark to get any good pix at the party.

The 2nd party I attended was my friend’s 36th birthday party where he and his wife were dressed as Slash and Axl Rose. It was a chill time complete with bad-ass cupcakes from Sugar Mama’s Bakeshop and tacos from Taco Deli. The 3rd party I attended was at the infamous Pink Palace off of Guadalupe. I had a good time and really loved watching time roll back at 1am and getting to relive that time all over again. Had I not been freezing in my lacy dress, I would have gone over to the Enchanted Forest for their throw-down, but I just couldn’t hang..

What kind of ghoulish shenanigans did you get into this weekend?
