9/19 Buffalo Bayou Partnership’s Wetland Planting Event at Buffalo Bend Nature Park
(Buffalo Bend Nature Park is on the south bank of Buffalo Bayou close to Wayside and Ave. U in the east side of Houston.)
Support one of Houston’s greatest features, Buffalo Bayou, at this planting event. Roll up your sleeves and be ready to dig for a good cause. We’ll give you a free bottle of tea for your efforts.
9/25 Taste of Tejas “Lone Star Cooking Challenge” at Houston National Golf Club, benefiting the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Several of Houston’s Top Chefs and restaurateurs will be preparing and serving some of their most delectable dishes with a Texas flare. Don’t miss the Sweet Leaf Tea + Tito’s Handmade Vodka cocktails. This is sure to be a spectacular evening. Contact MDA Houston for more information: (713)522-8561
9/26 11:00 a.m. Montgomery Food and Wine Trail “A Toast to Texas” in historic downtown Montgomery
This family friendly, all Texas festival is held in Texas’ 3rd oldest city and the birthplace of the Texas flag. Admission to the event is FREE and so are the samples of Sweet Leaf Tea.
10/3 7:30 a.m. Race for the Cure Houston at Sam Houston Park downtown
With nearly 10,000 walkers flooding the streets of Houston, this has become one of the largest Cure walks in the country. Get up early, get some exercise and get a free bottle of Sweet Leaf. It’s for a great cause.
10/9 10:00 a.m. Cool Globes Opening at Discovery Green downtown
This is the kick-off of Cool Globes Houston with remarks by Robert Kennedy, Jr. and refreshments courtesy of Sweet Leaf Tea. This outdoor public art exhibit featuring 50 colorful, super-sized globes (5 ft. wide and 7 ½ ft. tall) designed by international, national and local artists to depict everyday solutions to global warming.

10/10-10/11 10:00 Bayou City Arts Festival
The downtown skyline serves as a dramatic backdrop for art, music, dance, and interactive activities at the Bayou City Art Festival Downtown. The annual, juried, fine art event boasts a stress-free outdoor gallery brimming with 300 artists working in 19 artistic media. Adding to the festive outdoor gallery are wine cafés, the interactive Capital One Creative Zone for children, restaurants, and a performing arts stage with on-going multicultural musical and dance entertainment presented by The Houston Arts Alliance. The festival is showcased in front of City Hall and around Hermann Square on the streets of Walker, Bagby and McKinney, as well as Sam Houston Park. Sweet Leaf Tea is available at all concession stands and at the Sweet Leaf Tea booth. You won’t want to miss this event.
