Hats off to the all of those who helped make this weekend at ACL, yet another successful year! With lots of support from the Austin team, Alexandra (who drove in from Houston), interns and other volunteers, we had another GREAT year! The booths were awesome, both in terms of tea sales and in creating a really fun, lively, and often imitated (but never duplicated) experience for tea patrons as they waited in long lines (sometimes 100 people deep). The branding was awesome–granny stickers, balloons, tattoos, pins and other branding was all over the park. In fact, two random festival photos that appeared in the Austin American Statesman had Sweet Leaf branding in them. Attached is one pic that showed up in the Statesman of the band Gogol Bordello right after an SLT balloon launch!
